Is my welding class "Legally" safe? - welding gloves
Hello, I am currently a second year student in a course at the high school welding class and I had problems. My teacher really give us any background information on how to weld, which, as in principle tells us to, machinery, lighting, and reset it. It is located in a room about 30x30 tiles, and has a large garage door at one end. There are 3 arc welders, MIG welders 3 Aargon, with an inert gas, 1 TIG welder, plasma cutter 1 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oxy acetylene welders. We use about 2 / 16 inch thick metal and TIG arc. Mig for acetylene and use 1 / 16 inch thick metal. All machines are available before the middle of the room, and MIG welders are usually provided in the middle of the room. Everything is on a concrete floor with a sheet of wire mesh table and acetylene welding. MIG and TIG by a plate connected to connect to connect the power connection. The welder has no screen or something that blocks the rest of the class of welding or MIG or TIG welder. We have no protective equipment, and a page more Weldingka, we do not know the shadows, welding gloves and aging. We have a pair of sunglasses that are even the shadow saftely as dark as sunglasses.
So basically, I am also wrong in waiting for my class on a welding machine for really sunburned, flash, welders and welding procedures, because my teacher laziness. Flash / Welder located near every day, because all the bright light in the room, and sunburn, depends on the machine that I use, or as close to a different computer, I am the same day. So think if you have any safety tips or something, I try to my teacher in this type of security to obtain, but it seems that I am wrong.
